Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

I stopped by Katz to get some tires mounted. The guys are great workers and incredibly fast. Mounted and balanced in no time. Stay away from the big tire chains. They could care less. The crew at Katz does. They have a large inventory of tires and custom wheels. Pretty cool stuff. I will definitely come back for any tire needs or alignment. Thanks again to Nick.

Brought my car in for an alignment. I get called to the back of the shop to get told that they broke the bolt to my lower control arm on my rear end and refused to do anything to help me. And then proceeded to kick me out of their shop. Do not bring anybody, you know here.Keep friends, family and anybody you care about away from the shop. I had to come out of pocket three hundred dollars to replace the control alarm.Because they refused to do anything to help me had to go to autozone, to buy a whole new lower control arm.Because when he snapped the bolt off, he refused to take the bolt back out. And the owner did not handle it in a professional way.He bought me a cheap, thirty dollar bolt and had to come out of three hundred dollar for, a whole new control arm plus the bolt. My mechanic had to cut the bolt off just to get it out because they refused to do anything.
